Underbed Lift: You would love being lazy from now on

February 2, 2007

This is the perfect gift for all those procrastinating maestros out there. A  smart mechanism that lets you hide your 50′’ (that’s inch) flatscreen underneath your bed at the flick of a remote button and also lets you bring out the screen whenever you want to. You can also rotate the screen so that one is able to see from any direction. Now how cool is that?

While drinking beer, and smoking cigarettes; this guy builds a rocket launcher, then loads it with eight thousand five hundred bottle rockets. Then he fires them all at one time. This is a killer video. Check out the firestorm!

The amazing world of Gwon Osang: Sculptures out of pictures?

November 7, 2006

This is absolutely brilliant. Gwon Osang is a South Korean artist and he procreates beautiful life-like sculptures…out of real photographs!! Just see some of his work below and judge for yourself. This would take a lot of time and sanity that is for sure.

Visit Gwon Osang’s site to see more of his works.

Make an Optical Mouse Scanner

January 31, 2006

mouseSo you just bought one of those hi-tech looking optical mouse…yeah, those that don’t have heavy and nasty roller/tracker balls in them. That doesn’t only mean that from now on it would only be smooth sailing for you in the days ahead. The Optical Mouse can be as fragile as any other PC-accessories and might drop out of service any time soon. But that doesn’t mean you have to throw it out like any other junk…You can recycle its vital parts and make a home-made “SCANNER”! (say Aieeee) . The scanned documents might look crappish, but hey where on earth can you get a scanner (even one made with your own hands) for 8-9$ ? Jeroen has an excellent page on how to turn one of those optical mice into a made-shift scanner. Let me explain the main excerpts in short. (more…)
