Cocomment now works in opera too!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPicI’m really fond of cocomment, but was a bit disappointed when I found out that its quick bookmarklet didn’t work with Opera. But, wait there’s hope. With a little bit of hack you can make the bookmarklet work in Opera. I found it out while browsing thorugh the “browser bugs” section o cocomments support forum. Openomy: Share files…now with open-ness?

We’ve all jived over the many file sharing and file hosting services that spawned after the whole Web 2.0 thingy came into context. Once such contender is Openomy, the file sharing service that guarantees openness in sharing. What ? Sharing does mean openness doesn’t it? How can we make it even more open?? Well one thing you might do is to make the source-code available (or as I call it, the “webcode” available heh heh). Thats what the guys ( I think it should be just one “guy”, but whatever) at openomy did. They released the API of their service. This is a smart move I must say to differentiate yourself from the common traits. The API is easy to implement as well. There are lost of other useful features like searching files by tags instead of a hierarchal search that might take days to perform. (more…)
