Microsoft launches free/express tools for dev work
This had to come. A package of dev-tools released by Microsoft for developement work. These tools are actually “express” or “light-weight” versions of their hugely overrated and expensive tools available in the IT market. Microsoft is making it possible for wannabe developers and students to actually meddle with MS code adn make something better out of it. It is to be noted that this fascility to use MS-Dev tool Express will be available for only a year. After that the usual pay and heed process comes. Lifehacker calls it “Lightweight, easy-to-use, and easy-to-learn tools for the hobbyist, novice, and student developer”. The list of available express tools include:
This Out-of-the-ordinary move from MS comes in a time when open-source softwares and developer tools are getting more and more popular. Perhaps, Microsoft is trying to follows Google by employing ambitious and informative youth software/program developers who as Miscrosoft has realised by now “Can pack quite a punch”.
